Terms Of Service

1. Firearm Condition

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any firearm submitted for coating, refinishing, or gunsmithing services is in safe, functional operating condition prior to delivery. Firearms with pre-existing mechanical issues must be disclosed before work begins.

2. Performance Disclaimer

The Shop makes no guarantee regarding the performance, reliability, accuracy, or function of any firearm following coating, refinishing, or modification services. The customer is responsible for testing and verifying safe operation after all work has been completed.

3. Pre-Existing Damage

The Shop is not liable for damage, excessive wear, corrosion, defects, or other conditions that existed prior to service.

4. Thread-Locked or Damaged Fasteners

The Shop is not responsible for stripped, seized, or damaged screws, including those secured with thread-locking compounds. Removal or extraction of damaged fasteners is considered additional labor and will be billed accordingly.

5. Sights and Installed Accessories

Removal of sights, optics, or other accessories may be necessary to perform requested services. The Shop is not liable for damage to sights or accessories that must be removed during the normal course of service.

6. Electronics and Optics

The Shop is not responsible for damage to electronic components, optics, illuminated sights, or scopes resulting from services requiring oven curing. Customers acknowledge that applicable coating processes may require curing temperatures of approximately 150°F (65°C).

7. Coating Warranty

The Shop does not warranty coating damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, improper maintenance, harsh chemicals, excessive wear, accidental damage, or any other user-caused condition.

8. Expedited Service

Rush or expedited services are subject to a 50% surcharge in addition to the standard service price.

9. Transfer Fees

All firearm transfers are $15 per firearm.

10. Returns and Restocking

A 30% restocking fee applies to eligible returned merchandise. Custom services, including coating, laser engraving, machining, and other made-to-order work, are non-refundable once work has begun.

11. Labor rates

Shop labor is billed at $100.00 per hour, with a 30-minute minimum charge.

12. Customer Acceptance

By signing a work order, approving an estimate, or leaving an item for service, the customer confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms of Service and authorize the requested work to be performed.
